Thank you for your interest in serving at Grace Church! In order to better assist you in knowing where you might best serve, we need you to complete and submit two surveys.
1. The first is a "Spiritual Gift Analysis." (PDF version). The Word of God teaches us that God has given to each believer a special ability (called a "spiritual gift") to use in making unique contributions to the advancement of God's Kingdom. This survey seeks to match your preferences and tendencies to one (or more) of thirteen spiritual gifts.
We recognize that no survey can perfectly determine your giftedness. Rather, the goal of this exercise is to narrow your focus to a few possible gifts and encourage you to experiment in ministries where you could utilize these gifts. The true identity of your spiritual gift(s) will only be confirmed by the fruit of your ministry efforts and the affirmation that comes from the body of Christ.
Complete the analysis by circling each statement that accurately describes you.
2. The second document is a "Service Inventory"(PDF version). This lists a wide range of ministries here at Grace and in the community and asks you to identify your past and present involvements, as well as indicate areas you might have interest in participating in the future.
Return both of these completed forms to Pastor Len Thebarge , and we will use them to produce a personal profile for you identifying your probable spiritual gift(s), and to match you with appropriate ministry positions.
