Prayer Kids meets the second Sunday during the second service and is for our kids aged 1st-3rd grades. The purpose of Prayer Kids is to focus on learning to take everything to God in prayer. We use the curriculum Outside the Lines, developed by The Caleb Project. Each lesson is divided over two class periods: the first portion of the lesson focuses on a specific country. We learn about that country, discuss how that country learns about Christ, talk about how we can pray for that country, and usually play a game or create a craft focused on that country. The next class period, we learn a Biblical truth that will help us in our day-to-day life share Christ with others. Each family receives a Bringing It Home sheet at the conclusion of each Prayer Kids that has activities, prayer points, or games to play throughout the rest of the month. Our hope is that this will be a springboard for parents as they teach their children to pray and learn more about Christ.
